Job Bondhu (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides job updates and notifications, including eligibility criteria, salary and related information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, how it’s shared, and the choices you have.

1) What we collect

1.1 Information you provide (optional)

  • Account details (if sign-in is enabled): name, email (via Google Sign-In or similar)

  • Preferences: notification settings (e.g., districts/categories), in-app toggles (DataStore)

1.2 Information collected automatically

  • Device & app info: device model, OS, app version, language, country, app interactions (Firebase Analytics)

  • Diagnostics: crash logs, performance metrics (Crashlytics & Firebase Performance Monitoring)

  • Advertising data: Advertising ID (AAID), coarse location (IP/network), ad impressions/clicks, contextual data (AdMob)

  • Push tokens: Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token to send opted-in job notifications

We do not request precise GPS location or access your photos/files.

2) Why we collect it

  • Provide core features (job listings, preferences, notifications you request)

  • Analytics & improvement (stability, performance)

  • Advertising (keep the app free; consent shown where required)
     

3) How we share information

We don’t sell personal data. Access is limited to:

  • Service providers: Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Performance, Cloud Messaging), Google Mobile Ads (AdMob), Google Sign-In/Play Services, YouTube Android Player

  • Legal compliance or to protect rights/users/public
     

4) Data retention

  • Account data: until you delete your account or request deletion

  • FCM token: while subscribed; removed if you disable notifications or uninstall

  • Analytics/diagnostics & ads data: retained by Google/Firebase/AdMob per their policies
     

5) Your choices & rights

  • Notifications: toggle in-app or Android Settings → Notifications

  • Personalized ads: in EEA/UK we use a consent dialog (Google UMP); anywhere, you can reset the Advertising ID in Android Settings

  • Legal rights (region-dependent: GDPR/EEA/UK, DPDP/India, CCPA/California): access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability. Email biz@jobbondhu.com
     

6) Children

  • Not directed to children under 13 (or local age of consent). No knowing collection from children.
     

7) International transfers

  • Data may be processed outside India. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
     

8) Security

  • We use reasonable technical/organizational measures (TLS in transit, restricted access). No method is 100% secure.

  • External job sources/links follow their own policies.

  • We may update this Policy; the “Effective date” will change. Material updates may be shown in-app.
